Handling breakdowns means, addressing unexpected faults in the functioning of the assets which hamper the usage.


Ticketing is used for complaint management like if you have any complaint regarding your machine i.e it has stopped working or some other issue of breakdown. In this case you have to raise ticket against that particular asset & also while raising ticket if user wants some inventory item which is required in resolving that complaint then user can also raise item request.


In your case if user wants to raise item request for any particular location, there is no need to raise ticket, user can simply raise request through item request process. For this, you have to simply go to  inventory> item request.
