API/File Integration between Asset Infinity and other applications

APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) are a set of protocols that allow different software applications to communicate with each other. The integration of APIs has become crucial in today's technological landscape, as companies are looking for more efficient and effective ways to share data and functionalities across different applications.

API/File Integration Modes

Asset Infinity allows three types of integrations, where one company publishes the API/File, and the other company consumes it as a subscriber.

Mode 1- Company ‘XYZ’ Publishes the API, and ‘Asset Infinity’ Consumes the API as a Subscriber- In this scenario, Company "XYZ" publishes the API, and Company "Asset Infinity" consumes it as a subscriber.

Mode 2- ‘Asset Infinity’ Publishes the API, and Company ‘XYZ’ Consumes the API as a Subscriber - In this scenario, Asset Infinity publishes the API, and Company "XYZ" consumes it as a subscriber.

To achieve this integration, the following steps need to be taken.

Mode 3- FTP/SFTP Integration - FTP (File Transfer Protocol) and SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) both protocols are used for transferring files between systems. Asset Infinity provides SFTP URL so that customer can upload / download file from that URL if above two types of integration is not feasible for any client.
