How To: White label your own domain to access Asset Infinity

Asset Infinity supports using your own domain to access the web application.

The following records should be added to your DNS. The entries are different for subdomains and root domains.

For sub-domains (subdomain.example.com):

Whitelisting Customer Domain in Asset Infinity Azure App Services (SSL Configuration Process)

  1. The customer must first generate a Certificate Signing Request (CSR) from their server.
  2. Using the generated CSR, the customer purchases an SSL certificate from their preferred SSL provider.
  3. The CSR is submitted to the SSL provider during the certificate request process.
  4. The customer completes the required domain validation (DV/OV/EV) as per the provider’s instructions.
  5. After successful validation, the SSL certificate is issued and downloaded.
  6. The certificate is then converted into a PFX (.pfx) format including the private key.
  7. The customer securely shares the PFX certificate file and its password with AssetInfinity.
  8. AssetInfinity collects and securely stores the received PFX file.
  9. The PFX certificate is uploaded to the Azure App Service under TLS/SSL settings.
  10. The certificate is successfully imported into Azure App Services.
  11. The SSL certificate is then bound to the respective custom domain in the application.
  12. HTTPS binding is configured to enforce secure communication.
  13. Final validation is performed to ensure the customer domain is properly whitelisted and accessible over HTTPS.

Once these records are added, please share your domain name along with your organization name to support@assetinfinity.com. It takes around one day to reflect the changes. You will be able to access your domain and use Asset Infinity then.
