How To: Add/Create a Department in Asset Infinity
In order for the asset to belong to a user, sometimes there is also the requirement by businesses to add the Department in their organization that this user belongs to. To achieve this, there is a Department Master in Asset Infinity that allows you to create various Departments in the application which can then be mapped against each and any asset of your choice to indicate the department that it belongs to.
Follow the steps below to Add/Create a Department in Asset Infinity:
Menu > Application Settings > Department
To add department in the system, the below shown screen will open:
To create a new department in the system, click on create button. The following screen will open:
The page is used to add departments for users according to their
functions. The user requires to enter details to
create Department, whereas the list of created departments will be
displayed in the grid i.e., Department List.
Thus, by filling in the fields in the above form, you can Add/Create a Department in Asset Infinity.
