How To: Configure Emails in Asset Infinity

         Before you perform any activity in the application that involves sending across emails, make sure to manage the Email Configurations in the system to ensure the emails go through correspondingly. To Configure Emails in Asset Infinity, please follow these steps:

           Open your web browser and navigate to the Asset Infinity website. Log in to your account using your credentials and go to “Application Settings”.

 
          Menu > Application Settings > Advanced Settings > Integration Settings > Email Configuration

 

 
 
  On the top right corner there is a “+Create” button. Click on it to start configuring a new email.
 
    
 
     An email configuration form will open for configuring a new email.

 
 
 Enter the details such as From Email ID (The email id, you want to appear as the sender of the emails), Email Server Name (This is usually provided by your email service provider. For example, if you're using Gmail, the server address is "abc.gmail.com."), From Name (The name you want to appear as the sender of the emails), Login Password (The password for your email account.), Port (The port number for your server. Common values are 25, 465, or 587. Check with your email service provider for the correct port number.) and Email ID

 
 
 Check the SSL box if your server requires a secure SSL connection.

 
 
Click on “Save” button to save the email configuration.
 
 
           
 
A green pop up will appear at the top right corner showing that the email configuration was saved successfully.
By following the above steps you could easily configure emails in Asset Infinity.
