How To: Create a Predefined List in Asset Infinity

Using this feature called Predefined Lists, users can add options in their dropdown menu fields in any form of their choice such as Add Asset, Location, Category, etc. When a user wants to add/edit any further options to any dropdown list field, they can simply search for 'Predefined Lists' in the left-hand side menu bar or go to:

Menu > Application Settings>Advanced Settings>Predefined Lists





Click on ‘Create’ button.

Upon clicking, the following form will open:





User can enter the name of the Predefined List. For example: Colour.

In the section below, he can enter types of colours. After entering one colour, user need to click on + icon to add more colours.

After adding all the pick list values, click on save.

A new predefined list will be saved in the system.
