How To: Create Single Sign-On Settings in Asset Infinity

Single Sign-On allows users to use a channel such as Google or Microsoft account to log in to the Asset Infinity portal, therefore saving them the hassle of entering their login details every time they log in to the portal.  


Steps to be followed in Microsoft Azure:-

Step 1 :- Go to enterprise application.



 Step 2:- Click on the option "New Application"




Step 3:- Search for application "Asset Infinity" & select application name as Asset Infinity as mentioned in below screenshot.




Step 4 - Select the Application & click on "Create" option.



Step 5:- Go to enterprise application & select asset infinity app.



Step 6:- Go to single sign on option and select the option "SAML".




Step 7:- Enter following detail to get Metadata URL which needs to be shared with Asset Infinity team.

Identifier (Entity ID) :- https://api.assetinfinity.io/api/auth/signinSaml/<organisation-name>
Reply URL (Assertion Consumer Service URL) : https://api.assetinfinity.io/api/auth/signinSamlAcs/<organisation-name>

Asset Infinity
Need to be shared with Asset Infinity team once configured in Azure



Steps to be followed in Asset Infinity:-
Step 1:- Menu > Application Settings > Integration Settings > Single Sign-On.  
Step 2:-  Select the option as "SAML" under authentication type:


 

 Step 3 :- Enter the XML metadata URL shared from Microsoft Azure & enter user claim property as http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2005/05/identity/claims/nameidentifier & click on save button.



 

 That is all we need to setup :)


Now, Open the URL https://app.assetinfinity.io/ enter the organisation name. Choose the "SAML" login option.

You may also visit https://<organisation-name>.assetinfinity.io as well and choose the "SAML" login option.
