This section is helpful to manage the SMS Templates which we already
created and through which the specified users are notified by SMS when certain
action is done on the Asset Infinity platform. You can find this at:
Menu > Application
Settings > Advanced Settings > Template Settings > SMS Templates
When you reach this section, you will see the following screen,
Through this we can manage the SMS templates which we have created. The
coloured boxes on the Top right corner give us the option of saving as Report
or Widget, Exporting the data as PDF or Excel File, Refreshing the data to
reflect any new additions and Grid Settings to tailor the information grid
according to our requirements by making changes to it.
Template Type tells us about the topic for which the SMS Template has
been created. If we take “Ticket Close” as an example, then we will understand
that this template type has been created to notify the users through SMS when
the ticket which the reported by person created gets closed.
Template Name is the name set for the template.
Default Template Column will help us understand that for a specific
template type, whether this template will be chosen by default or not. The
default template option box in the grid will ask us whether to show only the
default templates or show the non-default templates as well.
Active? Option helps in understanding whether that SMS template is
currently active or not. If “Active?” Option, Is “Yes”, then the grid will show
the templates which are currently active, if No then the non-active templates
will be shown.
SMS/Notification Content shows the content added for a specific SMS
type.
We also have the API Document Icon which shows the API of the SMS
Template which application is using, to integrate this section with another
application.
Showing Records which is located below the Coloured Boxes, its number
can be changed to increase the number of records shown per page, which is
currently at 100.
We can also add filters into any field to find information associated to
it, for example, in the above image we have added “Update” as a Filter under
Template Name, and all the template names having “Update” in them have been
displayed in the grid.
We can use more than one filters as well, and we can use Clear Filters
Button in the centre above to instantly clear all the filters.
This is how we can manage this section.
