How To: Manage Widgets in Asset Infinity

In the article titled, "How To: Add/Remove Widgets on Dashboard in Asset Infinity", we learnt how we can add or remove any widgets(charts, reports, etc. custom made by the user), on the Dashboard. Now, in this section we will learn, how and where the user can view and manage these Widgets from in Asset Infinity:


Menu > Application Settings > Advanced Settings > Manage Widgets 


When we reach this section, we will see the following screen: 

 

 

 

 

Here we will see 3 columns, Widget Name, Widget Description, Widget Type.

 

Widget Name shows the name of the widget we had created.

Widget Description shows any other information we added when the widget was created.

Widget Type is the type of widget we created, it can be in the form of Report or a Widget displayed on the dashboard. 

 

Here we will be able to see all the widgets which we have created, Through the colored Boxes on the Top right corner we have the option of Save as Report or Widget, Export as a PDF or Excel File, Refresh or change the Grid Settings. 

 

The Showing Records Section can be expanded to include more records per page. 

 

 

We can add filters into any field to find information associated to it, for example, in the above image we have added Test as a Filter under Widget Name and Report as a Filter under Widget Type and all the information regarding the above filters has been displayed in the above grid. 

Thus Multiple Filters can also be added in addition to the Single Filters.  

 We can use Clear Filters Button above to instantly clear all the filters. 

 We also have the Delete Button besides each of the row to delete the Widgets that had been created. 

 That is how we can manage the Widgets section.
