Managing Meter Types
Application Settings > Meter Type
Here user can create type of Meter which is used to define the measure of a utility. The Meter created here will be seen in the drop down in Meter when creating a new utility.
The following screen appears by clicking on Meter Type:
User is required to enter the name of the Meter type, which, once created, can be edited and deleted (If it is not mapped with any data in the application). The Meter type added will be displayed in the Meter Type List as the below form:
To edit an existing meter, select the type of Meter and then click on Pencil icon in the Meter Type List to edit. Click on Save and it is reflected in the Meter Type List.
Delete
To delete an existing Meter, select the type of Meter and then click on Delete option next to Edit option. A popup comes up. The user confirms the Delete action and the Meter will not show in Meter Type List.
Exporting the Data
User can export the Meter Type list from the application by selecting the option to export the Meter Type List in Excel format through the Export to Excel option. User can just click on Copy to Clipboard and then paste to the desired location.
View & Create Icon
For the Meter, the user can also click on the “+” sign to create the meter type.
User can view details of the Meter Type by selecting the meter type and then clicking on the Eye icon to view details of the Meter Type.
