Updating Asset Details

Update Single Asset through Edit 


Double click on an asset from the asset register. A screen open ups with all details of that particular asset. Click on the Edit button given on the Asset (view) interface.  

  

 

The asset form opens in an editable format. Edit the required fields and click on the Savebutton to update asset data. 

 

Updating Information for Multiple Assets 


Updating asset details for multiple assets can also be done easily. To edit specific information for multiple assets at once, select multiple assets that are required to be updated from the asset grid. Click on the Update button present on the dashboard. See the below screen.   

 

Clicking on this button brings up a new screen. 


Use this Excel format layout to update multiple fields for multiple assets at one go.  

 

How to Update Specific Information for Multiple Assets? 

 

Upon entering the multiple asset information update utility: 


 

 

On the header of the Update page, three different filters are present: 

  1. Asset: When the user selects this filter, all fields of asset form will be displayed with uploaded data. User needs to update data as required and click on Save.  

  1. Linked Asset:Linked assets are sub-assets of an asset. To update linked assets for multiple assets, click on Linked Asset button. Further, update parent and child assets.  

  1. Specific Update:Users can select specific fields to be updated from the Drop-down. The spreadsheet displays selected fields as shown below.

  • The category field can be locked while updating an asset.
