Exploring NFC Tag Integration in Asset Infinity

Introduction

Asset Infinity has implemented NFC (Near Field Communication), a short-range wireless technology to share data. Like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and all manners of other wireless signals, NFC works on the principle of sending information over radio waves. NFC data is sent through electromagnetic induction between two devices.

NFC Tags

Near Field Communication tags are small integrated circuits designed to store information that can be retrieved by NFC-enabled devices like smartphones and tablets through radio waves.

In the Asset Infinity application, the NFC process works through Read/ Write Mode that allows the NFC device to read or write passive NFC tags.
