How To: Manage/Edit Notification Templates in Asset Infinity

These templates are useful for setting up a push notification which the user will receive for the actions specified by him in the application.

   You can find this at:

Menu > Application Settings > Advanced Settings > Template Settings > Notification Templates

When you reach this section, you will see the following screen:

Through this we can manage the Notification templates which we have created. The colored Box on the Top right corner gives us the option of saving as Report or Widget, Exporting the data as pdf or excel, Refreshing the data to reflect any new additions and Grid Settings to tailor the grid according to our requirements by making changes to it. We also have the API Document Icon which shows the API of the Notification Template which the application is using, to integrate this section with another application.

We have the columns such as Template Type, Template Name, Title Template, Default, Body Template.

Template Type shows that for what action will the push notification be activated for. We can see several actions in the Screenshot related to  Updating the Ticket, Updating the activity amongst other actions.

Template Name is the name assigned for the specific template type.

Title Template will be the title of the push notification which will be sent.

If Default is checked as Yes, that will mean that only the templates set at default for a particular action will be shown here, if No then the non-default templates will be shown.

Body Template shows the content added as a part of this template.

Showing Records number can be changed to increase the number of records shown per page, which is currently at 100.

We can also edit this section by clicking on it for the record which we want to change. After clicking on the button, the existing information will get updated in the edit section from where the information can be changed. The changed information gets reflected when we press on “Update” Button.

·

We can also add filters into any field to find information associated to it, for example, in the above image we have added “Combine” as a Filter      under Body Template, and all the template names having “Combine” in them are displayed in the grid. We can use more than one filters as well, and we can use Clear Filters Button above to instantly clear all the filters.

This is how we can manage this section.
